What’s the Big Deal?

The Big Deal with the Husqvarna 565 revolves around its redesign. This saw has a 70cc engine that cranks out 5.0 hp and 4.2 Nm worth of torque. It has a max power speed of 9,300 rpm and idles at 2,700 rpm. It can tackle a bar and chain anywhere from 15″ to 28″.

This saw is comparable, though edged out in the power-to-weight department, to the Husqvarna 572 XP. The beauty of the 565 comes from its feature set. For one thing, the redesign brought about a better chip ejection system to avoid clogs. With this saw, the clutch cover prevents even clogs from long-fiber woods, resulting in a fast, safe chip ejection.

Husqvarna has also repositioned the front handle closer to the saw’s center of gravity. The result here is that the user has better maneuverability and control.

The Air Injection feature filters out 98% of incoming dust, giving you better performance with less engine wear. AutoTune, which allows the saw to make quick air/fuel mix adjustments, ensures the right engine setting for optimized performance at all times.

The Husqvarna 565 also features low vibration, flip-up tank caps, a soft cut-out system, and a visible fuel level. It even includes a felling sight that will last the life of the saw.

The Husqvarna 565, like all of the redesigned line of chainsaws, is available from your local Husqvarna dealer. It retails for $939.95.
