Altoz Breaks Ground on 75000 sq ft Expansion Property

Altoz breaks ground 75000 sq ft expansion property

Altoz breaks ground on a new 75000 square ft facility expansion. The company plans to complete the new space by the end of 2022. The additional 75,000 feet represents the first phase of a multi-phase expansion project in their Red Lake Falls, MN campus. Including both the Red Lake Falls and Greenbush, MN locations, this brings them to over 412,000 square feet of total building space.

Owners Dennis and Terri Brazier welcomed guests, which included Minnesota Representative John Burkel and Red Lake Falls Mayor Allen Bertilrud. Dennis spoke, saying that Altoz has grown their Minnesota manufacturing workforce by a factor of four in just the last year alone. The new space should allow them to continue adding jobs from manufacturing to management and marketing.

What the Altoz 75000 Expansion Accomplishes

Immediately, the expansion brings a potential of up to 150 jobs to the community over the next several years. The $12 million dollar expansion increases Altoz’s manufacturing capacity as well as improves its operational efficiency.

Notably, the new manufacturing facility will include state-of-the-art metal fabrication equipment. This includes an automated fiber laser cutting system, turret punch presses, press brakes, and robotic welders. There’s even a powder coat automated paint system. Lastly, the space grants additional room for assembly and distribution.

“This new equipment, capacity, and space will allow us to grow our production team to keep up with the demand for Altoz products”

Matt Schaumburg, Productions Manager

Within the 75000 sq ft Altoz manufacturing facility expansion, the company plans to include a multi-story office building that will accommodate a growing workforce.

“Altoz retail sales have increased every year since our inception; we continue to add new dealers across the United States and are expanding distribution internationally. In June we will be revealing a new multi-purpose, multi-seasonal line of equipment that will be a first for the outdoor power equipment industry.”

The additional workforce and production capabilities will help prepare for and continue to meet the marketplace demand for Altoz outdoor power equipment. Currently, Altoz offers the only zero-turn mowers and stand-on mowers with tracks. We’ve already reviewed the Altoz TRX 660i tracked ZT and covered the Altoz TSX 561 tracked stand-on mower.
