DeWalt Zero-Turn Mowers for Commercial Users

DeWalt Zero-Turn Mowers

DeWalt Zero-Turn Mower Line Targets Professional Landscapers

Having released an extensive line of battery-powered outdoor equipment products, what does DeWalt intend with regard to gas products? Alot, apparently. After Stanley Black and Decker Acquired MTD, the company seems laser-focused on expanding into gas landscaping products. Case in point, DeWalt zero-turn mowers include options specifically designed for the needs of professional crews.

DeWalt Z260 60-inch Zero-Turn Lawn Mower

DeWalt Zero Turn Mowers 60 inch

The flagship DeWalt Z260 zero-turn lawn mower mows anywhere from 4 to 10 acres. It features a 24 horsepower Kawasaki FS Series V-twin engine. It then pairs that with a ZT-3400 hydrostatic transmission. Together, they deliver as much as 500 ft-lbs of torque with a top speed of 9 MPH.

You can position the 60-inch deck at any of 17 height positions (1 – 4.75 inches). DeWalt went with reinforced fabricated 10-gauge steel deck. If you don’t need a full 60-inches, DeWalt makes this mower with a 54-inch deck in the Z254 model.

For comfort and fit, an impact-absorbing seat, wide foot pan, and adjustable lap bars help tackle long days.

Interestingly to note, DeWalt manufactures these mowers in the USA using global materials.

DeWalt X554 54 in. Stand-On Commercial Zero-Turn Mower

DeWalt commercial stand-on zero-turn mowers

We love the quick access provided by DeWalt stand-on zero-turn mowers (and others). These models include large mowing decks up to 60-inches. The small depth makes means you can fit more on your trailer. The DeWalt X554 features a 26 horsepower Kawasaki FT730v EFI Series engine. It includes an electronic throttle, 12cc Hydro-Gear pump, and Parker Wheel motor transmissions. That gives it pro-level control when making turns. It also drives at up to 10 MPH (and 5 MPH in reverse).

The DeWalt 54-inch X554 stand-on has their largest deck size in that format. Its 10-gauge fabricated steel deck cuts down to 1-inch and as high as 5-inches. DeWalt recommends its use for properties between 2- and 4-acres in size.

If you need a smaller deck size, they make a 48-inch version (DeWalt X548). All of these stand-on mowers have an oversize, thick hip pad with two inches of height adjustment. The mower also features a wide platform also gives your feet plenty of room to find a comfortable ride.

The large 24-inch rear wheels are worth noting because of their size. 13-inch front caster wheels also help manage rougher patches and hills.

Like the Z260, this model is also made in the USA using global materials.

  • Electronic PTO (power take off) switch
  • Tool-free access to key maintenance areas
  • 5-gallon fuel tank
