Georgia Boot Offers Three Styles of Athens SuperLyte Boots for Light-Duty Work

With so many different types of work boots on the market, it can be hard to find the right pair. If you work in a field where you need a tough, heavy-duty pair, your options are pretty much endless. But what if you need something a little on the lighter side? Find out how the Georgia Boot Athens SuperLyte work boots can give you all-day comfort for people who work lighter-duty jobs.

Georgia Boot Athens SuperLyte Work Boots: The Big Deal

This boot lineup features a lightweight design, with the Moc Toe Chelsea style weighing 2.6 pounds for a pair of size 10 boots. That’s just under 21 ounces per boot, which is very light for work boots.

All boots in the Athens SuperLyte lineup are constructed using Crazy Horse full-grain leather. This makes them durable in the long term. The outsoles feature abrasion-resistant dual-density EVA and Carbo-Tec rubber. Their nail-free design also gives them an ASTM F2892 electrical hazard classification, since they are metal-free.

Georgia Boot offers three different styles, giving you the option to have boots with or without laces. All three styles feature Georgia’s waterproof system so your feet stay cool and dry. With this system, air can get in, but water stays out.

Moc Toe Hiker Style

Georgia Boot GB00547

The Georgia Boot 6-inch Moc-Toe (GB00547) features a laced-up style, with eyelet and hook hardware included. You get a padded collar and tongue, as well as Advanced Memory Polyurethane (AMP) insoles to increase comfort. They still maintain a lightweight design, weighing 2.9 pounds per size 10 pair.

Moc Toe Pull-On

If you’re looking for something with a little more height, the 11-inch Moc-Toe pull-on boots (GB00549) might be perfect for you. Grip panels on both sides ensure an easy pull-on, and a back zipper makes accessibility easier, too. Thanks to their zero-metal construction, they’re ideal if you work in an environment that requires you to routinely pass through metal detectors.

These boots are the heaviest ones in the Athens SuperLyte lineup, although they’re still lightweight for their size. A size 10 pair clocks in at 3.4 pounds, or 27 ounces per boot. There’s also an alloy-toe option that adds 3 ounces per boot.

Moc Toe Chelsea

The 5-inch Moc-Toe Chelsea (GB00548) boots also feature twin side panels for easy pull-on, like their 11-inch counterparts. As the lightest model in the collection, they weigh just 2.6 pounds for a size 10 pair. Additionally, they’re non-metallic, waterproof, and feature an AMP insole.
