Greenworks 24V 48V Lawn Mower Lineup

Greenworks 24V 48V Lawn Mower

Greenworks 2 x 24V PowerAll Lawn Mower Provides 48V Power

Having looked extensively at Greenworks Pro 60V cordless outdoor tools, we decided to turn to their entry-level consumer line. For those looking for more versatility and a lower cost of entry, should you consider a Greenworks 24V lawn mower? In particular, the Greenworks PowerAll 48V lawn mowers use two 24V batteries at the same time. Running 2 x 24V batteries lets these mowers and other PowerAll tools run at 48V without having to use a larger battery pack. Curious, we decided to test their 48V mowers to see how well they performed.

Greenworks 20-inch Push Lawn Mower 2532802

20-Inch Push Mower

To save money off a Greenworks self-propelled 24V lawn mower, you can go with a push model. The deck on this 20-inch 24V Greenworks lawn mower cuts nearly as much grass. It also stores and uses 4 batteries. The mower automatically swaps battery pairs when one runs out. Finally, you get that easy-fold handle for saving space in your garage or shed. The kit comes with two 4.0Ah batteries which deliver up to 45 minutes of runtime.

Buying Options

  • $399.99 with two 4.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger

Greenworks 48V Lawn Mowers

If you take away the self-propelled system and lose an inch in deck width, you get the Greenworks PowerAll 2 x 24V 20-inch push lawn mower. Good for lawns up to 1/2 acre in size, we generally recommend push mowers for lawns up to 1/4 acre in size. Of course, if you want the workout—then runtime alone determines your maximum size.

  • Steel deck construction
  • Mulch, bag, or side discharge
  • 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
  • 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels

Greenworks 17-inch 2 x 24V Push Lawn Mower

17-Inch Push Mower

For truly small lawns or for those who simply want a lightweight mower, the Greenworks 17-inch 2 x 24V push lawn mower fits the bill. You can both bag and mulch with this lawn mower, but it lacks side discharge. The height adjustment reduces the maximum from other PowerAll 48V mowers, topping out at just 3-3/8 inches.

  • Poly deck construction
  • Mulch or bag
  • 1 1/8 – 3 3/8-inch cutting heights (6 positions)
  • 7-inch front wheels and 8-inch rear wheels

Greenworks 2 x 24V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Options

Greenworks 21″ 2 x 24V (48V) Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 2532902

Greenworks PowerAll 48V Lawn Mowers

The flagship Greenworks 48V (2 x 24V) lawn mower includes this self-propelled 21-inch model. It looks very similar to their 60V lawn mower. A brushless motor and rear-wheel drive push this mower to tackle lawns up to a 1/2 acre in size. A turbo button lets you kick up the power when you run into thicker patches of grass.

We clocked nearly 70-minutes of runtime on this Greenworks lawn mower using four 24V batteries. The four battery ports automatically switch from one pair to the other when needed. That lets you work longer without having to stop until it’s time to put up the mower and recharge.

Additional features:

  • Steel deck construction
  • Mulch, bag, or side discharge
  • 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
  • 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
  • Front LED lights
  • Vertical storage
  • USB charging port integrated into the batteries

Buying Options

  • $499.99 with four 4.0Ah batteries and two dual-port chargers

Greenworks PowerAll 2x24V Lawn Mower

Two things separate this mower from the other self-propelled 21-inch model. First, the handle uses a steel tube design and doesn’t have the integrated easy-fold point. The second departure is that this mower only holds 2 batteries—not four.

You can still mow lawns up to a 1/2 acre with this mower. Greenworks gives you two 5 Ah 24V batteries in the lawn mower kit to deliver 45-minutes of runtime

Additional highlights:

  • Steel deck construction
  • Mulch, bag, or side discharge
  • 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
  • 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
  • Front LED lights
  • Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
  • USB charging port integrated into the batteries

Buying Options

  • $449.99 with two 5.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger

Greenworks 24V Lawnmower

Slightly smaller, the Greenworks 48V 20-inch self-propelled mower matches their 21-inch dual-battery model. In fact, dropping that inch of diameter is the only material difference we could discern.

Features:

  • Steel deck construction
  • Mulch, bag, or side discharge
  • 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
  • 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
  • Front LED lights
  • Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
  • USB charging port integrated into the batteries
