Husqvarna 300 Series Snow Blowers Recall

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on July 6, 2023, that Husqvarna has recalled several models of residential snow blowers. Due to a malfunction that poses safety hazards, this recall applies to the Husqvarna 300 Series Snow Blowers, and more specifically, model numbers ST 324, ST 327, and ST 330.

Husqvarna 300 Series Snow Blowers Description

The snow blowers are orange and black with the Husqvarna logo on the front plastic cover. The product is about 46 inches tall, 54 inches deep, and 24 to 30 inches wide, depending on the model.

The Husqvarna 300 Series Snow Blowers were available at authorized dealers and online at www.husqvarna.com . They sold from July 2022 through February 2023 for between $1,350 and $1,800.

Husqvarna 300 Series Incident Description

The manufacturer has received 22 reports of the auger pulley bolt loosening, unexpectedly engaging the drive. There are no reports of injuries. However, should you have to remove a stick or other debris from the auger, the machine could kick into gear.

This would set the auger in motion, potentially causing serious wounds. Please use caution and follow the following directives.

Product Recall Remedy

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, owners should immediately stop using the recalled snow blowers and contact an authorized Husqvarna Professional Products dealer for a free repair.
