Husqvarna 415X Automower for Midsized Lawns

Husqvarna 415X Automower for Midsized Lawns

Having reviewed the Automower 315, the Husqvarna Automower 415X steps things up for mid-sized lawns. As part of the X-Line of Automowers, the 415X adds lots of helpful features that make tracking and scheduling a whole lot easier.

Husqvarna Automower 415X: The Big Deal

Husqvarna designed the Automower 415X to handle lawns up to 1/3-acres or so in size (Husqvarna specifies 1500 square meters or just under 1800 square feet). It also has the smarts to tackle more complex yards. The 415X features systematic passage mowing for perfectly cut narrow passages and it tackles slopes with an incline of up to 40% (around 22 degrees).

Husqvarna Automower 415X robotic mower

Unlike some robotic mowers that require manual cutting height adjustment, the Husqvarna 415X uses an electronic system to raise the cut height. For those in colder climates, the Frost Guard feature uses software to prevent the Automower from cutting the grass if the temperature drops below 5 degrees celsius. It also features a weather timer. This directs the Automower to cut the grass when it’s dry as opposed to just letting it cut randomly.

The Husqvarna Connect Automower app lets you customize your mowing preferences. It also alerts you in the event your mower becomes inactive or stops mowing unexpectedly.

Husqvarna Automower 415X Price

Expect the Husqvarna Automower 415X to retail for around $1,999. It should be available in late Spring of 2022 and will carry Husqvarna’s 2-year warranty (consumer or professional). So far, we’ve only seen it published internationally. However, we suspect it will come to the United States market shortly after it releases.

As with all Husqvarna X-Line Automowers, we recommend professional installation for best results.
