The Snapper 550Z zero turn riding mower is a pitched as a professional-grade product. This zero turn mower has a welded, all-steel construction with a steel front axle and all-steel, wrap-around engine enclosure. With Snapper’s Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 hydrostatic transaxle technology, and its wide, heavy-duty 52-inch and 61-inch fabricated mower decks, the Snapper 550Z provides a smooth cut. Also, the zero turn mower features a convenient deck-lift that adjusts grass cut height from 1.5 to 4.5-inches. The Snapper 550Z zero turn riding mower can cut grass at speeds up to 8 mph. Controls on the Snapper 550Z are intuitive with fuel-level indicator and smooth steering. Snapper also made sure the 550Z zero turn riding mower is service friendly. The Snapper 550Z-25/52 and 550Z-25/61 are powered by high-performance Briggs & Stratton commercial series V-Twin OHV engine, which has the edge to perform advanced debris management system and has an improved cylinder block. The Snapper 550Z-24/52 and 550Z-24/61 are powered by a Kawasaki FR730V, V-Twin OHV engine which offers smooth power output and durability in a compact design.
