Doosan Bobcat, who has been making all sorts of headlines this week, has announced a three-year partnership agreement with pro quarterback Carson Wentz.
“We are excited to have such an accomplished and principled athlete, who shares a deep connection to North Dakota representing our brand,” says Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “Carson demonstrates perseverance, grit and a tireless work ethic both on and off the field, which truly embodies Bobcat’s standards of performance and toughness.”
Wentz comes from Bismarck, North Dakota, where he developed into one of the most succesful athletes in the state’s history. He developed into a star quarterback at North Dakota State University, eventually becoming a 5-time national champion. He was a top pick in the 2016 draft.
Wentz, when not on the football field, enjoys life outdoors on his property. As part of the partnership, Wentz will receive a variety of compact equipment, including a Bobcat compact tractor and attachments, which he’ll use to clear vegetation, push snow, grade land, and move dirt and rocks around.

“I love being outdoors and being on my land with friends and family,” says Wentz. “And now, I love the fact that I’ve got Bobcat equipment to help me maintain this property so we can continue to enjoy it for generations to come. I’m excited to get out and start putting this equipment to work and to enter into a partnership with Bobcat.”
You’ll see Wentz appear in Bobcat marketing efforts including advertising, dealership signage, and the brand’s digital and social media platforms.
“With his unique combination of character, leadership, and determination, we are excited to support Carson with Bobcat equipment to empower him to do more in his time off the field,” says Laura Ness Owens, vice president of marketing, communication, and public affairs at Doosan Bobcat North America. “As a homeowner with acreage who enjoys working the land, he is an ideal ambassador for Bobcat’s compact tractors and equipment.
