This New Adjustable Boom Kit Design Improves ATV and UTV Spraying Effectiveness

Green Leaf recently announced that they’ve been granted a patent for their new line of Reese Hitch Mount Boom Kits that they’ve specifically designed for its lineup of Workhorse Sprayers. The new kits make spraying from the back of your ATV or UTV much more effective while limiting waste.

The boom kits are designed to be mounted to any ATV or UTV with a standard 2″ receiver hitch. Green Leaf has 5 Nozzle, 7 Nozzle, and boomless options available, and the new patented boom kits can be used with pumps capable of 2.0 GPM flow or more. By creating a quicker way to attach a spray boom, Green Leaf tells us that the new kits are the ideal solution for spraying water, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and growth regulators to your lawns, gardens, ditches, pastures, orchards, and more.

What Is Green Leaf Saying About the New Reese Hitch?

Greg Mansfield, the Vice President of SPrayer Operations at Green Leaf, says that they designed the new system with an adjustable “Z” pattern arrangement. This design provides support that lets you selct the height and angle you want for your spray nozzles. He says, “with 300 degrees of adjustability, you can customize it for the optimal coverage density and spray pattern you need. That way, it gives you options for more targeted coverage to limit waste. And that means safer, more efficient spraying.”

“This new patent really reinforces our commitment to engineering,” said Pete Goda, President of Green Leaf. “Our engineering staff includes four full time engineers with over 75 years of combined experience. It’s what allows us to continue pushing the industry forward.”
