The redesign of the Husqvarna 545 Mark II chainsaw improves upon the cutting capacity, maneuverability, and endurance of the previous model. It also has more power over a wider RPM range than the 545’s first iteration. With 13% higher cooling capacity than Husqvarna’s previous generation of 50cc chainsaws, the brand looks to make this chainsaw part of a lineup that covers all professional applications.

What’s The Big Deal?

Husqvarna has completely redesigned its 50cc line of chainsaws from scratch, and the Husqvarna 545 Mark II chainsaw is a testament to the new and improved lineup. Ultimately, these new chainsaws add to the power, precision, vibration control, lightweight profile, and feature set that the first versions were known for.

Husqvarna 545 Mark II Chainsaw

The new Husqvarna 545 is a 50cc chainsaw that has been designed specifically for the felling, limbing, and bucking of small to midsize trees. With ramped-up horsepower and torque, the 2nd gen 545 can handle anywhere from a 13″ bar to a 20″ bar (as opposed to the hard 13″ bar requirement of the 1st model). It cranks out 3.6 hp and a max 9900 rpm.

The Husqvarna 545 Mark II chainsaw also features a slimmed-down profile with a lighter weight and lower center of gravity. At 11.7 lbs, this saw is more balanced and comfortable, resulting in much less user fatigue than the first model.

Speaking of comfort and convenience, the new 545  features a LowVib anti-vibration system designed to lessen fatigue by reducing the amount of vibration felt. Retained bar nuts keep you from losing any of the important pieces when you go to adjust your bar as well. Finally, this saw brings back the brand’s Smart Start feature, which keeps you from throwing your back out every time you start up.

Other Features

  • Magnesium crankcase
