Kohler Command Pro EFI Propane Engine

New Kohler Engines

The PCV680LE is a twin-cylinder, vertical shaft engine that significantly reduces exhaust emissions on account of its integrated catalyst and optimized fueling.

Low-emission technology is important for the environment, as well as users, and our goal is to ensure that alternative-fuel engines perform as well or better than gasoline- or diesel-fueled products. We are continuously refining our products and developing new ones, as a way to continue to reduce emissions without sacrificing performance.

—Quinn Derby, marketing manager, Kohler gasoline engines

According to Kohler, the Command Pro EFI Propane Engine burns cleaner and more efficiently, saving you time on refueling and money on fuel. It produces 80% fewer exhaust emissions. The PCV680LE also features closed-loop EFI tech, allowing the engine to automatically adapt its performance to its particular operating conditions.

The Kohler Command Pro EFI Propane Engine features turnkey startup, and because it has done away with the carburetor, it requires less maintenance. It comes with Kohler’s three-year commercial warranty.

Kohler Command Pro Dual-Fuel Engine

New Kohler Engines

The CH440DF is a horizontal-shaft, single-cylinder, four-cycle, carbureted engine that operates on either gasoline or propane. A lever lets you switch between fuel sources. It ranges between 4.5 and 14 horsepower, and Kohler has designed it for use with a variety of tools, like concrete saws, trowels, compactors, generators, and power buggies.

Our users depend on Kohler to provide offerings that meet their diverse needs on the job site. The new CH440DF engine is designed to do just that. This engine provides great versatility, in addition to the durability, reliability and consistent performance that Kohler is known for and our partners depend on.

Ben Marotz, marketing manager for Kohler Engines

The CH440DF has several standard features to enhance the performance of the motor. It features Kohler’s Quad-Clean four-stage cyclonic air cleaner to protect the motor against dirt and debris. Fuel Secure automatic fuel line shutoff cleans up startups on the job. Kohler’s Oil Sentry is featured on this engine, which automatically shuts down the engine in low-oil conditions.

It also includes a large fuel tank, cast-iron cylinders, and forged-steel crankcases. Like all Kohler engines, this one comes with a full three-year warranty.
