  • Senses user walking speed and adjusts the self-propel feature to match pace
  • Improves battery run time by automatically adjusting the motor power

Briggs & Stratton On StepSense

“The new StepSense technology senses the user’s walking speed and automatically adjusts the mower’s self-propel feature to match the pace of the person. This intuitive technology allows homeowners to focus on the mowing job at hand, instead of manually changing the speed of the mower.”

Mow At Your Own Pace

Snapper StepSense

Snapper’s Automatic Drive System senses your walking speed and matches the mower’s self-propel feature to your pace. This eliminates having to wrestle with throttle controls constantly. Plus, the Snapper XD uses Intelligent Load Sensing tech that maximizes the battery efficiency of the mower. In theory, this means that you can mow for up to 60 minutes without ever having to actually push the mower.

Snapper has also released a utility side cart extension that increases the capacity of the 82V utility cart. This expands the capacity from 3.7 cubic feet to 9.1 cubic feet. Snapper has used a weather-resistant material for the extension, and it can carry up to 220 lbs. Further, you won’t need your toolbox handy to attach or remove the extension, making this toolless addition even more convenient.
