Tackle a Variety of Demanding Tasks with Bobcat’s Telehandler
Bobcat has announced the TL619 Telehandler, a machine they describe as “a go-to favorite for agriculture, construction, landscaping, snow removal, and many other applications.” With a redesigned comfort cab, turbo-charged engine, and easy-to-access service points, the telehandler brings performance, precision, and dexterity to lifting, stacking, backfilling, and reaching applications.
Performance
The Bobcat TL619 Telehandler offers the extended reach and lift of a heavy-duty telescoping boom combined with a wide range of attachment options, including brooms, augers, buckets cutters, grapples, forks, and more.
The TL619 Telehandler features a Tier 4, turbo-charged engine that Bobcat has designed to deliver “impressive breakout force and pushing power as well as excellent efficiency.” This engine achieves emissions compliance without the use of a diesel particulate filter or selective catalyst reduction. This reduces downtime for DPF regeneration and cuts down on DPF maintenance costs. Bobcat claims that operators will enjoy the engine’s reliability during cold-weather start-up, as well as features that make service and maintenance more convenient.
The Bobcat TL619 Telehandler has a load capacity of 5,500 pounds and a lift height of 19 feet. An optional counterweight extends the TL619’s rated capacity throughout the lift cycle.
Five operation modes give you the versatility to handle a variety of tasks:
- ECO Mode: this mode lets you maintain hydraulic performance without engaging the engine’s full power; it works at a lower rpm that saves fuel and generates less noise
- Smooth Drive Mode: this mode is designed to maneuver across jobsites with mild acceleration and deceleration while carrying loads
- Dynamic Drive mode: this mode increases the responsiveness of the TL619’s acceleration and deceleration while traveling between tasks
- Flex Drive Mode: this mode lets you manage the engine speed independently from travel speed
- Advanced Attachment Control Mode: this mode opens up the telehandler for maximum auxiliary hydraulic performance
Comfort and Operability
The Bobcat TL619 Telehandler has the R-Series styling and visibility. Its low-profile boom sits below eye level to give you a better view of your surroundings, while the engine also sits lower for better visibility. Front, top, and rear window wipes keep your windows clear, and multiple mirrors help out when confined areas limit your ability to see well.
The redesigned cab keeps the operator at the center of things with a suspension seat, HVAC system, and an easy-to-read instrumentation panel. The telehandler cab also features level II Roll-Over Protection Structure and Falling Object Protective Structure to keep you safe.
The Bobcat TL619 features a single, intuitive joystick controls the travel direction, lift and tilt functions, boom extension, and auxiliary hydraulics. This gives you fine adjustment control and also lets you control several functions at the same time from one control point. Bobcat believes that this gives you more precise control and better productivity without having to remove your hand from the joystick.
Improved Serviceability
Bobcat designed the TL619 Telehandler with a box-welded frame with a low center of gravity. A shielded bottom plate protects the vital components, while the engine, cooling system, and critical components are protected within the center of the chassis. This reduces the wear and tear due to harsh terrain or jobsite obstacles.
Bobcat has also made the engine compartment, service points, and filters easily accessible for quicker and easier maintenance checks.
