Check Out What CAT Plans to Unveil at World of Concrete 2022
World of Concrete is the largest annual trade show in the concrete industry. As one of the foremost names in the contracting field, we expect attendees to be distinctly interested in what CAT has to show off at the 2022 World of Concrete Event in Las Vegas. And, for those in attendance, you can find them located at the West Hall, Booth W941. For those who can’t make it out, these are some of the upcoming equipment releases that the company plans to unveil.
CAT Command for Loading
CAT Command for Loading is a remote control option that works with your CAT wheel loader. It gives your operator the freedom to run the wheel loader remotely in hazardous applications. The CAT Command system not only enhances operator safety, but CAT claims that it can increase productivity and help to maintain control over operations.
The CAT Command system already exists for the company’s excavating and dozing. CAT unveiling the Command system for loading at World of Concrete 2022 means that we can expect to see this technology expand to skid steer and compact track loaders sometime this year.
303.5 CR, 304, 305 CR Mini Excavators
CAT also plans to show off the 303.5 CR, 304, and 305 Mini Excavators that they unveiled toward the end of last year. CAT tells us these mini excavators provide all day comfort while emphasizing ease of operations and big performance.
The newest line of mini excavators feature strong lift and dig performance with a reduced tail swing for better stability. You have the option of a sealed cab with features like air conditioning and suspension seating, while the stick steer and next-gen LCD monitor make operation simple.
259D3 Compact Track Loader
The CAT 259D3 Compact Track Loader delivers extended reach and lift height from its vertical lift design. It features a standard, suspended undercarriage system that provides better traction, flotation, stability, and speed.
The power train and Electronic Torque Management system maximize performance and production. It features standard two speed travel and an electronic hand/foot throttle with decel pedal capability.
262D3 Skid Steer Loader
The CAT 262D3 Skid Steer Loader also features the vertical lift design to give you extended reach and lift height. With its stability and performance, this skid steer provides excellent material handling.
The 262D3 has a redesigned cab with 15% more operator space, while the bucket itself now features 30% more capacity. Included SMART technology provides next-level machine and tool compatibility with attachment recognition and the ability to automate complex attachments.
420 XE Backhoe Loader
CAT claims that the 420 XE Backhoe Loader features 15% more boom lift performance with 10% better fuel efficiency. A selectable parallel lift ensures material retention when loading. Meanwhile, the redesigned operator control modes provide better response, more speed, and more torque. CAT has also improved the overall operator experience and improved the machine utilization.
920 Compact Wheel Loader
CAT claims to have configured the 920 Compact Wheel Loader for success. It features a C3.6 engine, the CAT-optimized Z-bar loader linkage, various work tools, an electro-hydraulic system, tuned drivetrain, and a cab with all-around visibility. The benefits to all this technology is 10% more payload and a 4% power boost.
