The Lynx Screed Modular Screed System Accommodates Pours from 3′ to 22′ Feet Thick
Curb Roller has released its first modular screed system for a variety of concrete pours. The Lynx Screed modular concrete screed system provides a series of linkable pipes that let you tailor your pipe screed size to the project at hand. Unlike traditional roller screeds, Curb Roller’s Lynx Screed does away with the need to buy dedicated and cumbersome pipe lengths.
How Does It Work?
Curb Roller’s modular screed system includes 3′, 5′, 7′, and 9′ pipe lengths that interlock together. You can use any combination of pipe lengths to work with concrete 3′ wide, up to 22′ wide. With this system, you can work with large slabs to smaller sidewalks on the same day.
Featuring centering rings, the pieces align easily, at which point you use three bolts to secure them together. This design lets you swap out pieces quickly if you need to, and it removes the need to retighten the pipes halfway through the job. Curb Roller also claims that you won’t need to worry about unthreading when changing directions as well.
The Lynx Screed System is compatible with Curb Roller’s Batt Screed (BS6000) and Eel Screed (ES6100), so it’s easy to hook it up and get to work.
When the job is over, the connectable aluminum sections break down to fit easily into the back of a pickup truck.
We’ve been told that the Lynx Modular Screed System comes in two packages. One of them consists of three 7′ pipe sections, and the other comes with a 5′, a 7′, and a 9′ pipe. You can also customize your setup to include any 3′, 5′, 7′, and 9′ combination up to 22′.
