Kubota on the Z400 Mowers

When we introduced the Z400 Series, it was our response to the market’s demand for a commercial mower with features and performance professional landscapers care about at an attractive price. The new models build on the already impressive set of features and add more to enhance the overall comfort and mowing experience of the machines. We’re proud to say we’ve made improvements to an already impressive, affordable line of mowers, with nominal increases in cost.

New Models

The Kubota Z400 mowers now include four models: the Z411KW and Z412KW feature 48″ decks while the Z421KW and Z422KW come in 54″ and 60″ decks. All of the models feature a Kawasaki engine.

However, the new Kubota Z400 mower models include notable improvements to the overall comfort level. They include 6.5-inch-wide pneumatic front caster tires to soak up bumps while minimizing the impact to the turf. They both come equipped with a deluxe adjustable suspension seat with 3″ of up and down travel, further absorbing the bumps and reducing operator fatigue. The new Kubota Z400 mowers also feature 24″ rear tires, cupholders, wide operator stations, ergonomic controls, and 12V charging stations.

All of the Kubota Z400 mowers also come equipped with a Hydro-Gear ZT-3600 transmission that minimizes downtime with a design that emphasizes durability and efficiency. Meanwhile, Kawasaki engines provide the power for the expanded line. The Z422KW gets a 24-horsepower motor while the Z412KW comes with a 22-horsepower engine. All of the Kubota Z400 mowers come with 6.8-gallon fuel tanks.

The Kubota Z400 Series mowers start at $6,099 and include an unlimited hour two-year commercial warranty and a 500-hour four-year residential mower. You can find the new Z412KW and Z422KW mowers at your local Kubota dealerships now.

Stihl RZ 760i Zero-Turn Review
