According to Makita, the 40V Commercial Lawn Mower will cut up to 1.2 acres per charge when using two 40V 8.0Ah batteries.

Furthermore, this model comes with a “Quiet mode” setting that caps the blade speed at 2300 RPM to reduce noise during evening and early morning jobs. The operator can easily engage this feature via a control panel on the right-hand side.

This mower retails for $759 as a bare tool, however, Makita often runs discounts on kits. For example, as of this writing, we could find it for $699 as a kit containing two 4.0Ah batteries and a charger. If you require extended runtimes, there’s an 8.0Ah kit priced at $949.
