The R01101 Brings Power and Control to Ridgid’s Cordless OPE Lineup

We saw a small fleet Ridgid 18V cordless outdoor power equipment in late 2022. The collection includes a string trimmer, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, auger, and backpack sprayer to name a few. And now, there’s another piece of gear on the roster. Let’s have a closer look at the Ridgid R01101 18V Chainsaw.

Ridgid R01101 Performance

Ridgid R01101
  • Model: Ridgid R01101
  • Delivers over 100 cuts per charge
  • 10 m/s chain speeds
  • Variable speed trigger
  • 12-inch bar and chain
  • 10-inch cut capacity
  • Brushless motor
  • Chain brake for kickback protection

The availability of the Ridgid 18V chainsaw is a welcome development for brand loyalists. Driven by a brushless motor, Rigid’s estimates suggest that you’ll get about 100 cuts on a single charge.

In addition to runtime performance, this saw also has a respectable cut capacity. With its 12-inch bar and chain speeds of up to 10 m/s, you shouldn’t have any trouble tackling limbs and logs nearly a foot in diameter.

Furthermore, the R01101 features a variable-speed trigger for greater control and a chain break to guard against kickback.
