Ryobi 40V Cordless Snow Blowers

Ryobi Launches 40V Snow Blower Lineup for Fall 2021

The current Ryobi 40V Cordless Snow Blower lineup includes four products from two-stage snowblowers to a compact 18-inch model—and everything in between. Powered by the 40V HP battery platform, these Ryobi OPE snowblowers look like they have the muscle required to effectively dispense snow buildup around both small and large properties.

Ryobi 40V Brushless 24″ Two-Stage Snow Blower

The top of the Ryobi 40V Cordless Snow Blower line looks ready to tackle the most serious snow-blowing applications. It features dual brushless motors and four active battery bays to increase both runtime and power. This is the first snowblower we’ve seen with that many battery ports. It speaks to the potential for extended runtime when clearing larger properties and areas.

This two-stage snow blower features an all-metal variable speed auger to clear a path 24″ wide and up to 21″ deep. A metal 180º directional chute lets you throw snow up to 55′ away. Heated hand grips keep your hands warm in icy conditions, while the electric push-button start means that you won’t have to spend time and energy trying to get up and running.

Ryobi 40V HP Cordless 21″ Whisper Series Snow Blower

Ryobi 40V HP Cordless 21″ Snow Blower

It looks like the Ryobi 40V HP 21″ Snow Blower mirrors some of the features of the Whisper Series model. It may, however, forgo whatever baffling or noise reduction measures the Ryobi RY408100VNM employs to keep the decibel levels down.

With its brushless motor, it has the same dimensions, auger, and throwing capabilities as the Whisper Series model. It also features the fold-over aluminum handles, though this handle telescopes as well. The Ryobi RY40862VNM also makes departures with a larger 1.4-watt LED headlight and different handle mechanisms for drive and control. Also, while this model still features the two active battery ports, it comes kitted with smaller 5.0Ah batteries and the standard charger.

Ryobi 40V HP Cordless 18″ Snow Blower

The smallest of the Ryobi 40V HP Brushless Snow Blower line, the RY40890VNM seems ideal for homeowners with smaller properties to clear.

It features a brushless motor that’s powered by a single 40V battery, and it can clear an 18-inch-wide path up to 10-inches deep. You also get a 180º directional chute that, with the help of the rubber and metal auger, can launch snow up to 25-feet away. It also features an LED light for better visibility and fold-over handles for space-saving storage.
