Stihl HSA 26 Garden Shears

Detail Your Garden with Precision and Power

When it comes to trimming up your ornamental shrubs and small plants with precision, look for the 12V Stihl HSA 26 cordless garden shears. This tool provides a compact and convenient 2-in-1 solution for tackling your garden trimming, and with a level of detail befitting the discerning gardener.

Precision Gardening

Traditionalists might look to the manual garden shears, but we wonder why? The Stihl cordless garden shears offer both grass and hedge shears to tackle the vast majority of precision trimming work your garden requires.

The attachments are quick and easy to swap out. You just squeeze a pair of thumb tabs to detach the shear from the motor. This design looks a bit quicker than the thumbscrew we’ve seen on the Hart 20V grass shear . This marks the second Stihl 12V cordless tool we’ve seen so we wonder how many more products might be in the works.

The Stihl HSA 26 garden shears join the popular GTA 26 garden pruner on the AS battery platform. These tools are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for more methodical and detailed work in the garden. For instance, with the grass shear attached, the HSA 26 weighs 1.9 lbs and measures 4.7-inches. Swapping out the blade attachments to the hedge clippers, you step up to 2.2 lbs and a 7.9-inch length. In both cases, the tool stays lightweight and compact.

Finally, while these tools seem to be all the rage amongst OPE manufacturers these days, Stihl claims that the optimized blade geometry on the HSA 26 garden shears provides a smoother and cleaner cut than both the previous edition of this tool as well as the competition.

Stihl HSA 26 Pricing

You have a few configuration options when it comes to the Stihl HSA 26. You can pick it up as a bare tool or kitted with an AS 2 battery, an AL 1 charger, and a bag. Stihl has priced the bare tool at $89.99 and the set at $129.99. This comes with Stihl’s limited 2-year warranty.
