BRIGGS & STRATTON POWERSMART SERIES P3000 DESIGNED FOR GAMEDAY

Briggs & Stratton has taken portable generators to the next level by designing the PowerSmart Series P3000 around tailgating use. There’s nothing like taking all the comforts of watching the game at home outside to the back of your pickup while making friends with 60,000 strangers as you cookout in the parking lot. Well, at least the ones that are wearing Florida Gator shirts! I’m not so sure about the guys and gals that show up to The Swamp wearing jerseys from The University That Shall Not Be Named.

The PowerSmart Series P3000 features 3000 starting watts of power and 2600 running watts. For outlets, you’ve got 4 standard 120V household outlets, one 120V 30 amp outlet, a USB charging port, and one 12V DC charging outlet. It’s quiet running as well, so you’ll still be able to hear what’s happening in the 12:00 game while you wait for your 8:00 kickoff.

2600 running watts is enough to run coffee makers, crock pots, electric griddles, blenders, and small refrigerators. You can plug in your flat screen TV, game system, DVD player, and radio. Many of these can be run at the same time without maxing out the system. Should you need more power though, the PowerSmart Series P3000 can be set up to run parallel with other units to get more things going at once.

Eric Loferski, director of marketing for Briggs & Stratton Portable Power and Cleaning Systems had this to add about the PowerSmart Series P3000: “This fall sports fans can transform their part of the parking lot into a tailgating haven with the quiet, affordable power provided by the new Briggs & Stratton PowerSmart Series P3000 inverter. Along with its ability to provide super quiet power, the P3000 inverter is also lightweight, easy to transport and maneuver, has great run time and offers more power than the common 2000 watt generator.
