Simpson SuperPro Roll-Cage Pressure Washer Performance

There’s a lot to love about the components Simpson chose to build this commercial-level pressure washer. The engine is a Honda GX 200, and it’s California-friendly. The pump is a AAA industrial triplex. You’ll have a tough time finding a better combination than that in this price range.

The combination results in pressures up to 3600 PSI and flow rates up to 2.5 GPM. That’s an excellent all-around performance level that you can use for just about any pressure washing job. Simpon’s ratings are certified by CETA (Cleaning Equipment Trade Association).

One other point worth noting is that the fuel tank on this model is 1.35 gallons, leaving you with fewer trips back and forth to your gas can.

Simpson SuperPro Roll-Cage Pressure Washer Design Notes

I Like to Move it, Move it

One design element we were drawn to right out of the gate was the 4-wheel design of the frame. It’s easier to roll on grass and soil than 2-wheel designs and less fatiguing over the course of a long day. Plus, the wider 10-inch pneumatic tires make bumps less jarring for the engine and pump sitting on the frame.

There’s a brake on the right rear wheel to make sure the pressure washer doesn’t make a run for it on slopes and work with a strap to keep it in place while you’re transporting it.

The axles are solid enough that you can lift the pressure washer up to a higher working level with a forklift.

Then there’s the full roll cage. It offers protection from other objects that might fall into it, provides extra rigidity for the unit, and provides a base for the fixed handles. There are also attachment points for lifting it with a crane.

In terms of wish list items, there aren’t many for this unit. However, one is for handles that reach up higher. Whether they pivot and lock or remain fixed, another 10 inches of height would let us move the pressure washer without having to bend over.

Connections

If you’re coming from professional-grade or even residential-grade pressure washers, note that the connections are different on this model. The hose uses a 5/16-inch (M22) fitting to the wand that’s beefier than the standard 3/8-inch quick connect fittings on other units.

Additional Features

  • 0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, and soap nozzles included
  • Reinforced base frame
  • 25-foot steel-braided 5/16-inch hose included
  • Insulated grip lance wand included

Simpson SuperPro Roll-Cage Price

Expect retail prices to run $979 for this pressure washer. The engine has a 3-year warranty, the pump is covered for 7 years, the frame warranty is 10 years, and the accessories are backed for 90 days.

The Bottom Line

From its Honda power plant and industrial triplex pump to its forklift and crane-friendly frame, the Simpson SuperPro Roll-Cage 3600 PSI pressure washer has the performance and build quality you need for commercial pressure cleaning.
