It starts with a compact footprint. Both models feature a fold-and-stow handle that lets you store the mower flat and under a tool bench. Or, you can store it upright against a wall. It stays secure in its upright position thanks to a rear clip that acts as a kickstand.

The TB260 XP self-propelled model features a variable-speed front-wheel-drive system that allows for easier maneuvering and turns.

Both models also feature Troy-Bilt’s TriAction cutting system, which isn’t new. It rakes the grass to stand it up, cuts the grass with the S-blade, and further mulches to for finer capture or ejection. The symmetrical deck also helps grass flow through the system. Troy-Bilt gives you the options of mulching, bagging, or side-discharging your clippings.

You can also make quick cutting height adjustments with the dual-lever, 6-position adjustment control. You get one for the front wheels and one for the rear wheels. It ranges between 1-1/4″ to 3-3/4″ cut heights, handling a variety of grass types and terrain.

When the job is done, and before you go saving all sorts of storage space, the Troy-Bilt space saver lawnmowers both feature deck wash ports for quick cleanup. You simply attach your garden hose to the port to spray down the grass clippings from the underside of the deck.
