And this year, all -5 generation models are outfitted with standard technology and comfort packages, plus more tech options for ultimate customization. What Can We Look Forward to with the KX057-5?

The Kubota KX057-5 Compact Excavator replaces the KX057-4 in the brand’s lineup. With this being an upgraded version, what can we expect the new model to bring to the job?

Kubota tells us that this model offers improved technology and cabin space to go along with its solid performance specs. The KX057-5 boasts 47.6 gross horsepower, a 12’9″ digging depth, and a bucket breakout force of 10,172 pounds.

But it also includes a suite of features to make your excavation work all the more convenient. It features a full-color 7″ LCD screen that provides all of the information you’ll need at a glance.

As an option, Kubota offers the KX057-5 with a keyless startup. Instead of worrying about and replacing lost keys, you can program these compact excavators to start up with up to ten 4-digit codes.

How Does the U55-5 Improve on the Last Model?

Kubota’s designed the U55-5 Compact Excavator to meet the needs of the contractor consigned to working in tight spaces. It features a reduced tailswing that can maneuver in any jobsite as well as a roomy cab packed with state of the art technology.

The Kubota U55-5 comes in both canopy and cab models. It also delivers 47.6 horsepower. It has a working range that includes a digging depth of 11’11” with a max dump height of 13’2″.

A redesigned cabin emphasizes operator safety and comfort. It features a double adjustable seat with more head and foot space. It also features reduced noise to protect your hearing. The thicker floor panel, thinner pillars, and flat ceiling drop the decibel level, but also reduce vibration.

The Kubota U55-5 Compact Excavators also feature the helpful LCD screen. And, Kubota offers options that include a rear-view camera and keyless start.

Quick Hydraulic Coupling

Also coming to the line of 2021 Kubota releases scheduled for March, this hydraulic quick coupler fits Kubota’s entire line of 3-4 ton class excavators. This coupler lets operators change buckets from the operator seat in just 10-15 seconds.

It includes custom control packages for a perfect fit on each excavator model. The construction-grade coupler also includes specialized hose kits and a spring-applied hydraulic release locking mechanism.

The new hydraulic coupler works with older style buckets as well.

Look for the new additions to the line of Kubota Compact Excavators, as well as the new hydraulic quick coupler, coming up this March. What’s more, Kubota has another compact excavator model slated for release later this summer.
