Next-Gen Kubota Stand-On Mowers Get Upgrades and Improved Serviceability

Kubota now has four new SZ Series stand-on mowers joining the brand’s line of commercial landscaping equipment. These next-generation mowers see improvements by way of adjustable cutting deck baffles, enhanced serviceability, and better tire performance. These mowers, which include 36″, 48″, 52″, and 61″ cutting deck options, will replace the older models in the SZ Series Stand-On mowers.

The updates to the SZ Series provide landscapers the ability to dial in their mower’s performance to best suit their jobsite’s conditions, while simultaneously making the equipment more durable and easier to service. Kubota Improves Next Generation of Stand-On Mowers

The updated stable of Kubota SZ Series Stand-On Mowers now includes adjustable cutting deck baffles (with the exception of the 36″ model). These allow you to adjust the air intake of the cutting deck. In turn, this adjustment will affect the quality of the cut and how well the clippings are directed to the bag, or out the discharge chute, or onto the ground for mulch.

Since cutting conditions vary between regions, having this adjustability ensures that landscapers can configure these mowers for the highest quality cut possible across a range of terrain conditions.

The updated Kubota SZ Stand-On Mowers also include 23″ Zero T tires. These specialty tires have a unique tread pattern to give you the optimal balance between handling, grip, and weight disbursement for reduced turf impact.

Kubota has improved the serviceability of the SZ Series as well. These mowers now have easier access to the key areas of the cutting decks. The hydraulic fluid reservoir has been repositioned within the body of the mower. This protects the system by reducing potential leak points, improving serviceability while reducing downtime.

Like the previous SZ mowers, these models come equipped with Kawasaki FX and FT EFI engines and hydro-gear transmissions. A low center of gravity gives you better stability with faster travel speeds up to 11 mph (depending on the model). Adjustable controls, ergonomic cushions, and large operator stations all come standard as well.
