Stand-on mowers have existed for a while now, but they probably haven’t had the sort of presence in the market as riders or walk-behind mowers have had. Typically, it’s been the professional landscaping contractor who has used these types of mowers for their versatility. Though they can handle wide open mowing pretty quickly and easily, stand-on mowers typically handle smaller properties with a lot of obstacles and slopes very well, while still affording the operator the ability to ride.
