EGO Power+ Commercial Series Preview

EGO Power+ Commercial Series

A couple of months ago, Ego announced a commercial line of 56V lawn care tools that they plan to release in the spring of next year. And, at this year’s GIE Expo in Lousiville, Kentucky, we finally had the chance to follow up with Gerry Barnaby from EGO for more details about the new EGO Power+ Commercial Series.

EGO Power+ Commercial Series Runtimes

Although the EGO Power+ Commercial Series of lawn tools have paid a lot of attention to features a pro landscaper would look for, the main talking point about the new lineup might revolve around the battery pack. The conversation about the comparability between gas and electric always involves runtime, and EGO has tried to address that with this 56V, 28Ah battery pack.

With this battery pack, users can get up to 7 hours of runtime with the EGO Power+ Commercial Series hedge trimmers. Barnaby tells us that the battery pack can power the string trimmer for up to 5-1/2 hours, and the blower for up to 5 hours. It can recharge in as little as 3-1/2 hours.

Look for the Ego Power+ Commercial Series to become available in the spring of 2019.
