If you want a cordless blower with the power of a gas backpack unit, then EGO’s 765 CFM blower is the model for you. Of course, not every homeowner needs that kind of power, however, EGO has other models to suit that population of consumers.
But the simple fact is that 56V EGO blowers are blazing a trail within the realm of such equipment. Indeed, we’re talking about 25 Newtons, which is what we measured in our trials.
This is the most expensive of EGO’s residential handheld offerings, but also the strongest handheld model they currently offer.

The EGO 650 CFM leaf blower has a well-rounded balance of power and runtime. This 56V EGO blower measured 20.3 Newtons on our bench when paired with the kitted 5.0Ah battery.
You’ll get a little more (20.8 Newtons) if you pop in a 7.5Ah battery.
This is the most expensive of EGO’s residential handheld offerings, but it’s the strongest of any of their current models.

The 530 CFM might surprise you. Although it doesn’t seem that impressive compared to the more powerful options EGO has, it makes quick work of blowing tasks. For just $179 with a 2.5Ah battery and charger, it’s our pick for the best value in the lineup.

When we tested the EGO Commercial LBPX8004-2 56V backpack blower, we were impressed. Indeed, this 56V EGO blower is among the most powerful we’ve ever tested. Not only was it comfortable to wear and use, but the dual battery system provided excellent runtime.
What’s more, this model has upgraded components for professional use, and notably, some of its mechanical parts are serviceable.

Like the LB5302, this one surprised us. Still running a 56V platform, these tools rely on a battery backpack with a much higher capacity than even the 10.0Ah battery holds.
Similar to the backpack blower, this model puts the weight of the battery on your back but keeps the motor and impeller in line to improve its airflow efficiency.
The 56V EGO blower produced 18.2 Newtons in our testing. Though it’s not as powerful as the 650 CFM blower, its modest operation and high capacity power source help it to run longer–1 hour and 36 minutes on high to be exact.
Even on Turbo, we got 1 hour and 10 minutes out of it.

EGO’s 615 CFM blower settles in between the 530 and 650 CFM models, providing mid-range blowing force without reaching the 650’s price point. If you already have other EGO products, the bare tool is only $10 more than the 530 at Ace Hardware.

The 580 CFM model replaces the 575. Even though the CFM ratings are very similar, this model puts out up to 168 MPH (18 Newtons). This 56V EGO blower is a little harder to get, and it costs more than the 615 CFM blower.
That said, the kit does come with a 5.0Ah battery instead of a 2.5Ah. Either way, you might want to do some price comparison before grabbing one.

EGO Combo Kits
EGO String Trimmer and Blower Combo ST1502LB
This 56V EGO blower combo combines a 15-inch string trimmer with a Rapid Reload head and the 530 CFM blower. At $279 with a 2.5Ah battery and charger, it’s a reasonably priced, well-performing entry into the platform.
EGO Mower, String Trimmer, and Blower Combos
There are a number of 3-tool combos that combine a mower, string trimmer, and blower to get you started with battery-powered lawn care at a better value. Each includes EGO’s 15-inch string trimmer with Rapid Reload head and the 580 CFM blower.
The most affordable of the lot is EGO’s 21-inch push mower and a 5.0Ah battery for $669. This is best for smaller lawns that can get the mowing, trimming, and blowing done on just one battery.
Naturally, you can add more to extend your runtime.
Climbing to $809, you get the EGO LM2102SPBST 21-inch self-propelled lawn mower and a 7.5Ah battery. With that battery, you should be able to cover mowing, trimming, and blowing on lots up to a 1/4 acre easily.
