Titan Hydra X Roofing and Protective Coatings Sprayers

using the Titan Hydra X

Titan introduced two Hydra X roofing and protective coatings sprayers that feature a Honda GX390 engine with low oil alert and electric start. These sprayers include Titan WearGuard and a four-year manufacturing defect warranty. These sprayers use a high-flow gas-powered system to lay down roofing and protective coatings. The two models include the Titan Hydra X 4540 and Hydra X 7230.

Titan Hydra X Roofing and Protective Coatings Sprayer Features

Both Hydra X sprayers feature balanced, ergonomic carts and 12-inch pneumatic tires. They maneuver easily for their size and can travel over soil, rock, or other difficult, non-smooth terrain. The tools feature a curved design that easily wraps around a 55-gallon drum. Titan built a storage tray right into each unit so it can hold spray tips, pins, and even small tools. You can lift the unit by simply pressing on the rear lift bars using your foot.

HydraStroke Technology

Equipped with Titan HydraStroke Technology, these sprayers deliver an extremely efficient electronically controlled hydraulic system. It allows Pros to spray anything from heavy to light-bodied coatings with a consistent finish. Titan optimized the hydraulic motor of the Hydra X protective coatings sprayers to use just a single moving part. This not only reduces heat due to friction but also extends the life of the sprayer. To cap it off, a two-stage cooling system further drops the running temp—even when using it in full sun on a hot roof.

Severe Service Fluid Section

Titan implements their Severe Service fluid section to maximize power and extend pump life. It does this by way of a slow stroking piston. Titan has been doing this for over 45 years and it also features a tri-chrome process that resists corrosion and abrasion. This matters when dealing with specialized coatings that can really damage parts that aren’t properly constructed. The quick removal fluid section also lets a single person service the sprayer in the field using just a couple of tools.

AutoLift

Titan Hydra X roofing and protective coating sprayers claim to be the only direct immersion sprayer systems with AutoLift. With a single button, you can raise the fluid section and hydraulic motor straight up. It makes material changeovers much easier for both 55-gallon drums and five-gallon buckets. It eliminates wrestling with bulky siphon tubes and there’s no need for a transfer pump. AutoLift can be operated with or without the gas engine running.

“Now it’s possible to spray high solids coatings with even more efficiency. Hydra X sprayers offer ultimate durability and unmatched power with proven Titan technologies like HydraStroke and Severe Service fluid section. The new AutoLift feature and quick-change fluid section also greatly simplify material changeovers and maintenance.”
