For sure, the AC60’s stand-out selling point is that it gives you bigger power in a smaller package.

Thus far, this model is Bluetti’s most compact power station, weighing just 18.9 pounds. Combined with its folding handle, the manufacturer definitely kept transportation and maneuverability in mind when designing it.

Furthermore, it shouldn’t have any trouble with the elements thanks to its IP65 rating.

Getting its juice from a 403Wh LiFePO4 battery, this power station comes with a 600W inverter. Also, the battery recharges in a comparatively short 1.2 hours and has several charging methods. These include solar, 12V, and AC.

In terms of operation, there are a few modes you can select: Silent (160W), Standard (225W), and Turbo (600W). Interestingly, the Bluetti AC60’s silent setting runs at 45dB–about the same volume as a normal conversation.

Bluetti B80 Expansion Battery

Bluetti B80
  • IP65 rating
  • Cycle life over 3000 cycles
  • Six-year warranty
  • Expands AC60’s capacity to 2015Wh
  • Serves as a power bank for other Bluetti solar generators
  • Functions as a standalone DC power source
  • Three DC ports: USB-A, USB-C, and 12-volt
  • 806Wh of energy output
  • Recharge on its own or when used with the AC60
  • Supports AC adapters and 200W solar charging via standard PV cable

Bluetti has also put the word out about its B80 Expansion Battery. Here too, water and dust shouldn’t be a problem with its IP65 rating.

Moreover, this unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure, meaning that the chassis is rated by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association to include a gasket that protects against liquid and solid ingress.

That makes both the Bluetti AC60 and the B80 suitable for rugged outdoor use.

However, the latter doesn’t merely serve as a power bank. It’s also compatible with other Bluetti solar generators. On top of that, it can serve as a standalone DC power source equipped with three ports: USB-A, USB-C, and 12-volt.

To put its 806Wh energy output into context, it can charge a smartphone up to 43 times in a single charge.

You can recharge the B80 on its own or connect it to the AC60. It supports AC adapters and 200W solar charging using a standard PV cable.
