EGO’s fall lineup of product releases is pretty exciting, to say the least. In fact, we got a taste of what’s on deck at this year’s Equip Expo. We’re talking about everything from string trimmers, blowers, and augers, to snow blowers and mowers. Regarding the latter, we’re particularly keen on exploring EGO’s 56V T6 Lawn Tractor (TR4204). This is their fleet’s first traditional platform lawn and garden riding mower. And, for that reason alone, it quickly got our attention.

EGO T6 Lawn Tractor Features
At the heart of the TR4204 is a brushless motor and up to six 56V (6.0Ah) ARC Lithium batteries. Based on the numbers, this duo yields impressive power.
Using all six batteries, you’ll get as much as 20,000 watts of juice for performance that’s equivalent to a 21-horsepower gas mower. What’s more, EGO estimates that the T6 lawn tractor can cover 1.5 acres on a single charge (again, using all six batteries).

Furthermore, the mowing system, itself, has immediate benefits.
For one, the TR4204 features dual brushless and belt-free cutting motors. Especially if you have a lot of small rocks and twigs on your property, this setup will be a delight, with less maintenance and fewer repairs. Moreover, its 42-inch cutting swath is a respectable width for a residential unit.
EGO T6 Lawn Tractor Design
In terms of design, EGO added some 21st-century touches that are, for the most part, unique to the battery platform.
For example, like their 56V zero-turns, EGO’s T6 lawn tractor comes with an LCD display. From here, you can customize your ride. Choose from three blade settings and three drive speeds. Additionally, this tractor has cruise control and 12 adjustable deck height settings from 1.5 to 4.5 inches.
