RedMax EBZ8560 Claims the Throne as the Company’s Most Powerful Blower

When we reviewed the RedMax EBZ8500 backpack blower in 2017, it really impressed us. Now, the RedMax EBZ8560 includes 15% more blowing force. According to the company, this solidifies it as the new king of the hill in backpack blowers. We wonder if it will entice existing RedMax users to upgrade to get the additional power or just appeal to those needing a new blower for their commercial crew.

RedMax EBZ8560 Backpack Blower: The Big Deal

The RedMax EBZ8560 produces 1,000 CFM of air volume and 220 MPH of airspeed at the nozzle. A large 77.8-ounce fuel tank keeps you from having to constantly refuel. Cushioned straps and a ventilated back pad help you stay comfortable all day long while working as a lawn care professional.

RedMax also makes the EBZ8560-RH with right-hand throttle control.

Functionally, the EBZ8560 looks and works identically to the EBZ8500 backpack blower. The big deal is that RedMax managed to eke out an additional 100 CFM and 14 MPH of airspeed. By our measurements, they also generated an additional 7N (or more) of blowing force. Add them together, and those aren’t subtle changes.

Final Thoughts

If you need a new and powerful blower, this RedMax should top your shopping list. If you already have the EBZ8500 backpack blower, however, the EBZ8560 gives you modest upgrades—but probably not enough to warrant an upgrade to a functioning machine.

Additional Features
