Tell Us About It…

“We’ve redefined the new Landroid with the latest technology to make it a “smart mower” that’s a true asset to homeowners. The Landroid M is a real time saver for homeowners who would rather spend time golfing, going to the beach or pool, attending a baseball game or relaxing on their deck or patio.”

-Thales Marques, WORX Product Manager

What’s New With Landroid?

The old Landroid mower did just about all of the things you’d expect from a robotic mower. But, Worx hasn’t been content to rest on its laurels, they’ve actively been trying to improve upon their flagship robomower.

The new Landroid M can handle up to 1/4 acre, just like the last iteration. However, one of the big changes to the new edition revolves around its “smartness”. With the Landroid app, homeowners can program their mower from their smartphone. That means that you can communicate with your mower while you’re out doing other things.

The app also allows you to program the Landroid’s permissions. It features a lawn size calculator feature; basically, you’ll walk the perimeter of your lawn and the app will calculate and record the size of the lawn. It will then come up with a working schedule for the mower.

The new Worx Landroid M also comes with weather sensing technology that sends the mower back to its charging station when it senses rain. A notification will appear from your app letting oyu know what your Landroid is up to, at which point you can program when you want your mower to get back to work.

The new Landroid also comes with a Cut to Edge feature. The Landroid’s offset blade design allow the mower to get right up to your walls, minimizing the need to go back over the lawn with a string trimmer. It also creeps through narrower passages now, thanks to its improved problem-solving capabilities.

Finally, the new Worx Landroid M features a side charging port and multi-zone programming. This allows you to program in separate cutting zones, such as the front and back yards, berms, and tiered locations.

What Else?

The Worx Landroid M operates on the brand’s 20V Max Power Share battery platform that powers over 25 other Worx lawn and garden tools. It comes with one 4.0Ah battery, 90-minute charging station, nine cutting blades and screws, a hex key, two measurement gauges, and eight lawn screws for securing the charging station.

It retails for $999.99, and comes with a 1-year warranty. If that isn’t enough action for you, Worx also has some plug-n-play modular accessories available, such as an Anti-Collision System with ultrasonic sensor, an Off-Limits accessory that simplifies the wiring process, and a GPS module that helps locate a lost or stolen Landroid.
