Up front, there are several performance facets that caught our attention, starting with its clearing capability. The Green Machine snow blower is capable of opening paths 21 inches wide, which isn’t bad. And neither is the depth–about 13 inches. Of course, there are a number of models out there that can handle upwards of 20. Nonetheless, the Green Machine’s specs aren’t too shabby for a cordless unit.
Moreover, the GMSB6200-SS has a pretty good throwing arm, tossing snow as far as 40 feet. That’s roughly 4 inches above average. So, again, well done.

In terms of runtime, Green Machine tells us that this snow blower should give you 45 minutes using the two 4.0Ah batteries. But don’t take that figure as gospel. In fact, there are a lot of elements that can affect runtime, including the snow’s consistency, the amount of accumulation, and even the temperature.

While you want your cordless gear to be somewhat light for power efficiency, you don’t want to trade metal for plastic. The GMSB6200-SS seems to have solid material in the right places. For example, we like seeing a steel auger and chute. Incidentally, the latter has a 200-degree turning radius.
Furthermore, there are some advantages to the single-stage design itself–namely, its resistance to annoying clogs that create unnecessary downtime.
