The main talking point with the Greenworks Bike Handle String Trimmers is pretty obvious. While the vast majority of string trimmers on the market use a loop handle, a few models feature the bike handles. These might look awkward, but when you’ve got the shoulder strap on to support the weight of the trimmer, the bike handle grips allow for better control over the work. They also feel so much more comfortable to maneuver, especially as the intensity of the work ramps up.

Speaking of ramped up power, the Greenworks Bike Handle String Trimmers run off the brand’s commercial-level 82V platform, which provides plenty of power. Additionally, these trimmers come in one of two varieties: a 16″ cutting swatch and an 18″ swath. They both use a beefier 0.095″ line, and for when you need to get into some brushcutting, these models both come with a brushcutting blade.

The 82TB16 and 82TB18 both feature a variable speed trigger and a bump feed cutting head. The cutting head uses a dual line system.

Pricing

The Greenworks Commercial Bike Handle String Mowers come in at a similar price point. The 82TB16 retails for $365, while the 18″ 82TB18 jumps up a little to $389. Both tools come with a two-year warranty.
