HART 40V Brushless Hedge Trimmer Design/Performance Breakdown
HART’s design team went to the drafting table with trimming speed foremost in mind and ultimately combined their 40V battery system with a brushless motor. The HART 40V brushless hedge trimmer is capable of 3000 SPM and a 1-inch cutting capacity. While this runs middle-of-the-road in the overall landscape, this model’s 26-inch knives make it an all-around more efficient tool for trimming larger hedges.
But with that added length comes more weight. The bare tool weighs 9.4 pounds, and the 2.5Ah battery bumps that number a shade over 11 pounds.
This might seem a bit on the heavy side to you, in which case HART does have quite a few hedge trimmers to choose from. If high performance is what you’re after, this is the model for you. If you want something more lightweight, HART has smaller options, including several brushed and brushless hedge trimmers, including some on its 20V platform.
