Husqvarna W520 Professional Walk-Behind Mower

Husqvarna Designs A Rugged Mower for Full-Time Landscaping Work

Landscaping work is demanding, and Pros in the field need equipment that can stand up to day-in, day-out use while still able to deliver top-class results. Husqvarna believes the W520 Walk-Behind Mower fits just that bill. It has improved ergonomics, a rugged build, and features that ensure less downtime and improve your mowing efficiency.

Build Quality

Sturdy aluminum is showcased heavily in the Husqvarna W520 build. This mower starts with a heavy-duty cast aluminum chassis with a reinforced side bumper that protects it when mowing next to walls or other hard objects around the yard. Aluminum rims provide more durability and support deep-treaded rubber tires that offer better traction and a more comfortable mowing experience. Husqvarna also uses aluminum to case the gear box, increasing the durability.

Husqvarna also uses fits the W520 Mower with a Kawasaki FJ180 engine. This commercial-grade motor features an overhead valve, pressured lubrication, an internally vented carburetor, and a dual-element air cleaner that all combine to deliver reliable power.

Notable Features

The Husqvarna W520 Mower features the brand’s Blade Brake Control. This feature lets you stop the blade from spinning, but leaves the engine running. Not only does this feature open the mower up for off-turf traversal, but it also lets you stop and go without having to restart the engine every time. We’ve played with other mowers with a similar feature, and it is a huge help.

This mower also features the AutoWalk Self-Propelled Drive System. This variable drive lets you mow at your own pace simply by squeezing the trigger on the handlebar.

Other Features

  • Easy fold handle bar
  • High capacity bag
  • Steel frame to protect the engine
  • Ergonomic, adjustable handle bar
  • Single-lever height adjustment

The Husqvarna W520 Walk-Behind Mower retails for $1,199.99. It comes with a 3-year warranty, and you can purchase it at any Husqvarna dealers either online or in-store.
