Chemical Guys Releases a Compact Pressure Washer Perfect for Washing Vehicles
Normally, we don’t recommend pressure washers for taking care of your car. The Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 pressure washer, however, comes designed specifically for this task. We take a closer look to see if this compact electric solution might help you keep your car, truck, or boat clean and give you something to do this weekend.
Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer: The Big Deal
The best pressure washers deliver lots of power for getting off tough stains and mildew. Most tend to weigh a lot and they aren’t easily transported. Even most electric models take up quite a bit of space when storing the units away in your garage or shed. The Chemical Guys PM2000 electric pressure washer redesigns this tool into something completely different. An extremely compact design, the proflow measures just 14 inches long and sits atop four lockable casters for easy maneuverability.
We haven’t seen anything this innovative since the DeWalt “suitcase” pressure washer.
While a lightweight design, the compact proflow pressure washer still manages to generate up to 2030 PSI if you use the red 0º tip. It manages all this with a 1680-watt (14-amp) electric motor. The maximum flow rate is stated at 1.77 GPM (likely with the 60º soaker tip). These numbers don’t compare with high-end electric pressure washers , but the PM2000 also won’t accidentally take the paint off your hood!
Chemical Guys gives you five different spray tips that include 0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, and 60° sizes. These connect via a quick-connect adapter. They also give you a compact and extended pressure washer wand attachment. That lets you clean both close-range and hard-to-reach areas using any of the included tips.
The 35-foot attached electrical cord and 20-foot high-pressure hose give you a ton of room to maneuver if you don’t have a spigot right next to your driveway.
